Matt Hullander

PRINCIPAL

Matt Hullander is an entrepreneur from Chattanooga, TN who grew his primary business to one of the largest remodeling companies in the country before selling the business in 2021. He was chosen Businessman of the Year by Cityscope Magazine and Contractor of the Year

by Replacement Contractor Magazine. His other accolades include: Business of the Year by Chattanooga’s Chamber of Commerce, The BBB’s Torch Award for Business-place Ethics (twice) and Matt was inducted into the “Big 50” by Remodeling Magazine.

James Purgason

PRINCIPAL

James Purgason, CPA is a Certified Public Accountant with an active license in Tennessee. He spent 15 years in public accounting, making partner at a large regional public accounting firm (Smith + Howard). James now leads Citadel Capital Advisors - a boutique investment banking firm serving the lower middle markets throughout the Southeast United States. James leans on his perspective acquired serving a multitude of private companies, funds and private equity investment offerings to drive thoughtful and creative financial leadership.

Andrew Hibbard

PRINCIPAL

Prior to forming V2 Capital, Andrew was the Sr. Vice President of Vision Hospitality Group where he was responsible for Investments, Capital Markets activities, Asset Management and Investor Relations. Earlier in

his career, he worked as Director of Operations for Hospitality Management for Jackson Hole Ski Corporation.
Over the course of his career, he has sourced over one billion dollars in equity, mezzanine and senior debt financing for hospitality and mixed-use development projects.

Hiten Patel

PRINCIPAL

Hiten Patel began his career in development in 1986 when his parents bought their first hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After graduating from college, Hiten moved to Nashville to join Aventis Pharmaceuticals, where he was quickly promoted to Quality Systems Supervisor.

In 2008 he became the Senior Vice President of Development & Construction at Vision Hospitality Group, LLC. During his career, Hiten has overseen the design and construction of over 40 hotels, storage facilities and community centers.

Bret Slaton

PRINCIPAL

His career began with humble roots, working as a maintenance man on apartment units while pursuing his
BS in accounting. This was when he discovered his passion for contracting and remodeling.

He later ventured into the real estate and development market, building spec homes and custom residences, diversifying his portfolio to adapt

to changing economic landscapes. As the housing market shifted, Bret transitioned into remodeling, earning acclaim and numerous awards for Slaton Custom Homes.
